The gently graded 31-mile Klickitat Trail runs between the town of Lyle on the Columbia River and Uecker Road near Centerville. The trail winds its way through carved gorges, unique geological formations, rolling hills and oak and Ponderosa pine woodlands. The 13-mile Klickitat River Segment—from Lyle to Klickitat—is co-managed by State Parks, US Forest Service and the Klickitat Trail Conservancy. State Parks manages the 18-mile segment from Klickitat to Uecker Road.
